The Botanical Garden in Bad Langensalza
Close to the Friederiken Thermae you can find the Botanical Garden in Bad Langensalza.

On a total area of almost 15000 square meters, subdivided in nine different areas, a great number of rare frost-resistant and winter-hard plants are exhibited. In the central point of the Botanical Garden is a place with succulents lined by pergolas, in whose center you find the succulent house with various exibits - for example an about 40 year old agave.

Next to the flora exhibits, the visitor can also regard other charming compositions, for example High Mountain Shrubs between domestic travertine in the Alpine Garden.
The individual subject areas are: Onion plants, edge of forrest
flora, Alpine Garden, Family Bed, Welfare and Spice Planting, Moist Meadow, exotics from all over the world in the succulenthouse, grassland of the national park "Hainich" and a bamboo and grass landscape.
The Visit of the Botanical Garden can be finished by a walk through the "Kneippsche Tretbecken".
